I'll probably think of more later, but I'm basing my final project this semester on LoL so it's all I can think about.

See, it's like a turn-based fighting game. You enter a string of attacks (up down left right) and certain strings will perform special moves, and you can string together the beginning and ending of each move. So you could link a somersault with a slash kick and then a power punch.
Also, as you can see in that screenshot, your equipment is shown on your character in-battle, which was the first time I ever saw that.
