List the games you're playing, what you think of them, how far you are so far, etc.

---
Nintendo DS
---

Pokemon Diamond: great game, and the first Pokemon game I'd played in years. The new online capabilities make this something worth playing hours and hours after you beat the Elite Four. Being able to migrate Pokemon from your GBA games means you can get some nice trophies like Mewtwo and battle/trade them online. It's compatible with the GBA Pokemon games, but not with the GB/GBC ones. So in addition to this game, I've also been playing Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon Emerald, both for GBA. I hope they come out with an updated version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game (the GBC game).. it would work very well on the DS with the touch screen and online features. I'd buy that the week it'd come out probably...

Final Fantasy III: this is a very awesome FF game and a remake of the NES original. It's NOT a remake of FF6 (which was released on SNES here in the U.S. as FF3), instead, it's the Japanese-only NES FF3. Anyway... the job system is cool, the story's nice, graphics are good, touch screen usage is optional (you can use it to move around and go through menus and stuff). Makes good use of the second screen, for example, the world map will be displayed there when you're on the overworld.

PC
---

Ashen Empires: one of my favorite MMORPG's of all time.. and it's now completely free again! I used to play it when it was called Dransik (now they call a different, older game Dransik and call this one Ashen Empires).. back then it was in a free beta, around five years ago. Now it's free, and there are some expansion packs you can buy for a few bucks each if you really want to.. but the free version is worth it as it is. I play on the Legends server (that's the one on the left of the server selection screen).. character name Joshthebest.

If you like RTS games, it's a complete revolution in the genre. And I don't say that lightly..

I'm playing Eve Online as well (great for people who like freedom, science fiction, and a player-driven universe), and the occasional 30-40 minute gun game session of CS:S. I'm thinking about picking up V:TM - Bloodlines again, but I don't think it's been long enough since my last play-through earlier this year. Barring that, maybe Arcanum, Fallout Tactics, Fable, or even Startopia... I'm indecisive recently, but all I really need to do is kill time until Mass Effect comes out.

Mostly been out so I'm playing on my DS - final fantasy VI advance, super mario bros DS, sonic rush DS and FF3 DS. If I can be bothered to carry my laptop around with me - F.E.A.R. EP, Simpsons hit and run, Tomb raider anniversary and I have Unreal Tournament GOTY on my flash.

WoW, thinking about getting back into FFXII (12 not X-II) then playing more WoW. Oh and FF7 is always running in a never ending loop
